All the way from Brighton UK, Seb Lee-Delisle is offering a day of official Papervision training in San Francisco. Learn all the skills you need to create awesome Flash 3D projects from the acclaimed Papervision team member and Plug-in Media CTO.

And as Seb is in San Francisco for the Flash Games Summit, we'll spend some time looking at some aspects specific to making 3D Flash games.

We'll start with the basics, showing you how easy it is to set up a Papervision project in 20 seconds! Then give you a solid grounding in the basics, including:

  • scenes, cameras, and viewports
  • primitives
  • materials 
  • shaders
  • interactivity
  • reflections
  • importing 3D models

As the course progresses we'll also be looking at :

  • skyboxes
  • viewport layers and effects
  • texture baking
  • 3D lines 
  • particles
  • augmented reality

Papervision games Plug-in Media case studies Seb at Flash on the Beach

We will also examine several case studies, including Big and Small for BBC and Staraoke for Cartoon Network. 

All attendees will receive official Papervision Certification upon satisfactory completion of the course.

To keep the price down, we ask that you bring your own laptop with a copy of FlexBuilder installed. You will receive course materials shortly before the course starts.
